Long Bio
Blending piano-driven pop with cello and jazz influences, Gennevieve Braden is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music reflects her deep faith. Her family’s world was shaken when her sister had a traumatic brain injury. As a result, she’s witnessed how God created music to heal the brain in beautiful ways, which continues to fuel her songwriting, creativity, and lifetime passion for music. A natural musician from the start, Gennevieve was singing before she could talk, began piano at age four, and quickly added cello, clarinet, and saxophone, building a versatile foundation across genres. Her versatility earned her the Outstanding Jazz Soloist Award for her clarinet performance at the televised SteelStacks Jazz Band Showcase, a recognition that reflects her ability to move seamlessly across genres. Now preparing to release original music, Gennevieve continues to create songs that honor her faith while inspiring listeners through honesty, artistry, and hope.
